Maths Teacher and Pirelli National Superstock 1000 Championship Rider

A talented all-rounder, Chrissy studied A Level Economics and Mathematics.  Having completed his Mathematics degree at Newcastle University in 2018, Chrissy is now about to complete his teacher training course.

When he is not engrossed in algebra, Chrissy is employed as a professional British Superbike Championship rider and has most recently signed to the Morello Racing Kawasaki Team for this year’s National Superstock 1000 Championship. He began riding motorbikes at age of seven on a Malaguti 50, spending two years learning to control the bike. Aged 14, Chrissy had raced at all of the major circuits in the UK, and won the Aprilia Superteens Championship at Donington Park .

His success continued with winning Triumph Young Guns competition – securing him a place in the 2012 Triumph Triple Challenge. Rouse dominated the season with 10 wins and took the title with two races still to go.

After taking some time out to focus on his A-Levels, he made his international debut when he contested the final three rounds of the European Superstock 600 Championship with the Racedays Honda squad.

After a season with Derek Sanders’ team Haribo Starmix, Chrissy made the big step up to 1000cc power, joining he Pirelli National Superstock 1000 Championship with the Mission Racing team. He ended his rookie year in an impressive 9th position, improving to 4th position in the 2017 championship.

Chrissy has also recently teamed up with road racing star, Dom Herbertson, with whom he produces a weekly motorcycling podcast called ‘Chasin the Racin’. A must for avid motorcycle racing fans.
